Leslie's last project

Those of us that know and love Les know she always has a project she's working on. This latest project was to set up a website featuring her secret for fabulous soups. Once you learn her secret, you can also request a copy of a cookbook she put together called "Grandma's Stone Soup". It if full of her favorite recipes and those of her friends and family members. Check it out, there is a great video of her! Go to http://www.grandmasstonesoup.com/.

  1. Dear Leslie & Greg,
We enjoyed so much our visit the other day to Pocatello. We have spent so much time since remembering our time in Louisville--all of us poor together--and yet probably some of the best years of our lives! Then our sons go to dental school together as well.
Just want you to know Leslie that I always admired so much the way you were so comfortable with and accepting of everyone you met. You just smiled and immediately people felt accepted and okay. I read in one of your comments the observation that you had fulfilled your mission here well and truly and could go home in comfort knowing that you had done your best and served well. That is such a blessing for you and for your family to know that about you. You have been such a good mother--your children are all self-sufficient, competent and on their way. I am sure there are many tasks waiting for you to start and complete.
We cannot imagine Greg without you as you are always together and know that life will be hard for him for a time but please remember that there are friends all over the country who would be only too happy to see you and comfort you.
We have considered you both good friends practically all our lives and even though we most often saw you at the rivalry matches of Idaho State and Weber State we always looked forward to those times to remember happy times and catch up on your news.
I want you to know I have always been appreciative of all that you have accomplished in your life with what seemed relative ease. These last days will be accomplished with the same grace, love and compassion for those around you that you have always shown to us all. May God be with you until we meet again.
    Love, Pete and Dianne

Please update the blog. It is the 26th of March and we are wondering how Leslie is doing now. Love to all of you.

  2. My prayers are with you all. What a wonderful example Leslie is and always will be. It has been so many years since we first met in Louisville. I think the last time I saw you was when you were in Salt Lake back in the late 80's or early 90's, bt we still kept intouch through e-mails and cards. I love you Leslie. Susan Niedert
